Why Your Life Is So Boring(And How To Fix It)

 


Hey Sis! I am currently on a spiritual journey to find ME again-To find what the Lord has placed me on this earth for. I recently join a mentorship called "Mindset Mentor Plus, ran by Rob Dial-If you don't know who he is- Google him "HE IS WONDERFUL'" Never the less- AM most recent podcast was speaking of " Why Your Life is SO Boring(And How To Fix It). There were 4 steps he mentioned that I would like to share with you. I felt that creating an on journal will resonate with someone and inspire others to be the best version of their selves.

STEP 1: TAKE BACK CONTROL OF YOUR LIFE

The goal is to break free from autopilot and start actively to participate in your own life. I learned that in order to take control of your own life you have to create actionable steps that can help you along the way. One thing that I found out that I've been wanting to do but keep putting it off-Is to have a spa day to myself. I mean I know your saying-Just do it-but being a single mother and the sole breadwinner I cant just up and book something like that just because- Lot of times I just don't have the funds but hey "abundance is in the future and I will never stop believing that.

STEP 2: START LIVING YOUR OWN LIFE

Ensure you're following your own path and not someone else's expectations. For a while I was living off what my parent's expected me to do and not doing what I really wanted to do. If money wasn't an issue, I could imagine my days doing personal spa days frequently, impromptu shopping trips with my babies, and working on my craft. So I will take the steps to live the life I know I should have and live it to the fullest.

STEP 3: REIGNITE YOUR CURIOSITY

Explore your sense of wonder and reconnect the greatness within you.  When was the last time you stepped out of your comfort zone? I know for me this is something I am working on. This is something that my self still has problems with and I look forward to this journey. I say "YES" to more opportunities that exited me and want you to come along with me. 

STEP 4: SHIFT FROM CONSUMING TO CREATING

Stop being a passive consumer and start actively creating and engaging with life. I will reduce the time i spent on passive consumptions such as social media(This is a BIG one), Netflix, Tik-Tok, and that is just to name a few. I will commit to blog more, to write more, and to occupy my time with business building takes, and learning a new skill versus consuming energies that do nothing for me. I encourage you to do the same.
